Description
Ligne Roset is perhaps best known for sofas and armchairs. Togo represents the corner-stone of the collection. Designed by Michel Ducaroy in 1973, this range was the first successful all-foam sofa and the starting point for all the corner seating units that are so popular today. Its importance is recognised by its place in the New York Museum of Design.
From this acorn Ligne Roset has gone on to produce so many iconic designs: Facett by R and E Bouroullec; Pumpkin by Pierre Paulin; Smala by Pascal Mourgue. All very different statements but all happily within the world of Roset. And then there are the designs of Didier Gomez: classic pieces at home in a contemporary or traditional setting. Whether 'avant garde' or classic in form, you can be sure that as much thought has gone into the interior construction as the outer look, with only the best materials used.
