Description
Original Art Deco large coffee table likely by Jules Leleu, 1930's ca, France. Veneered parquetry decoration on the top, in coromandel wood and ivorine. Quality elegant moulding detail on the frame with a light colour line surrounding the frame in exotic wood, typical of Leleu's style. Tapered legs in coromandel with brass finishings. Very good condition with age related patina.
Pieces like this are very rare as were mostly commissioned for private houses and not mass produced.
