Dive Amanwana tour

Perhaps best described as a five-star nature camp, Amanwana is part of the exclusive Aman group of hotels and is set on the nature reserve of Moyo Island, just to the east of Bali, in Indonesia.

The island is home to a variety of animal and bird life from deer to wild boar, macaque monkeys, sea eagles and osprey. Amanwana itself is surrounded by tropical rainforest and overlooks the waters of the Flores Sea.

Amanwana operates its own very good dive centre, suited to beginners and experienced divers alike, with many of the best dive sites being no more than a 10-minute boat ride away from the resort. The hotel has a flotilla of boats available to transport to you to the reefs and dive spots. The sites around Moyo are utterly superb and the coral gives Australia's Great Barrier Reef a run for its money. The area hosts some of the most incredible underwater biodiversity anywhere on the planet, and the water is wonderfully clear. Whether you choose to dive on the reefs close to the shore, or at more distant sites, you will find pristine conditions, and few other divers. For experienced divers, Amanwana also offers night dives.
